Action Learning is an accelerated learning tool which can be applied to any number of different workplace (and personal) goals and challenges. In Action Learning groups or 'sets' we meet regularly with others in order to explore solutions to real problems and decide on the action we wish to take.
Mastermind groups is a term attributed to author Napoleon Hill from his book, “The Law of Success.” The group has similar attributes to Action Learning Sets and offers a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support to sharpen an individual’s, leadership, business and/or personal skills.
Both groups host between 5 and 8 members at the same level e.g. Middle Managers, Business Owners etc., that helps you and the other members of the group achieve success, through challenge, strong goal setting, and accountability.

We have extensive experience of working on a variety of bespoke projects including, leadership development, team development, coaching, conflict management, bullying and harassment, employability skills, improving customer service and relations etc.
An initial exploratory meeting with the commissioning officer/team leader is facilitated to identify the real and perceived need/problem that a solution is required for; the desired outcome is clearly linked to the organisation’s values and objectives.
We then use a variety of diagnostic activities such as surveys, focus groups, 'mystery shopper' type observation, benchmarking against organisation or national competency frameworks to meet the outcome of the organisation.
The management and / or administration of the bespoke project is managed by our lead consultant and Business Manager who monitors and maintains the project plan, budget, communications with key stakeholders.
At the end of the project evaluation is carried out using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods depending on the intervention used. Examples of evaluation methods include, bespoke assessments, 360 degree feedback style surveys, observations, customer responses etc.

Our approach is designed to equip individuals, staff, and therefore their organisations, with the personal resources that are necessary for maintaining and developing effective work relationships that will achieve business goals and customer satisfaction.
Our programmes are facilitated to take account of the diverse needs of organisations and participants by supporting them though a process which:
We achieve this by working with a combination of interactive techniques that encompass both theoretical and practical aspects of management, organisational and personal development, such as group and individual exercises, self-assessment, presentations and discussions.
We agree with the research carried out by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) who found that organisations need the following 8 attributes from their workforce to achieve success. TWPI can help you to achieve these attributes, skills and qualities through
Coaching, Action Learning/Mastermind Groups and Team Development interventions:
At the outset of each course, participants will identify their training needs in relation to the programme and its stated objectives. This will then be used at the end of the programme to evaluate the learning outcome.
Where no organisational process or initial reaction forms are available, we use our own evaluation sheets to provide the individual or organisation with a written record.
More in depth qualitative and quantitative evaluation services are also available and outcomes can be linked to organisational objectives.

Brenda
VP Finance – Europe
“Coaching with Jacqueline Peart at TWPI came to me at a make or break point in my career.
One year into my role, leading the European finance team of a global Logistics group, I was faced with the reality that the skills and qualities that got me this far in my career were no longer enough to see me successfully through the challenges of my new role.
In particular, I needed to improve my communication skills, to lead effectively in the diverse range of cultures I was responsible for and to in my role.
I worked with Jacqueline over a period of 5 months, during which I was introduced to new tools and implemented new practices which allowed me to take my communication skills, time management and the quality of my working relationships, to another level. I also got a new appreciation for the skills and qualities I already had and how to make them work for me once again.”
“The results I have achieved since we started working together have been far beyond my expectation. I have experienced Jacqueline’s work in the past so I knew there would be good results, but by the end of our time together there was an increase in the acceptance and delivery on my proposals and ideas not only from my direct reports but also from my line manager and other leaders in the company.
In fact, senior executives have been asking – what’s changed in you – and I’ve smiled to myself knowing that my turnaround came from having a coach who held me accountable and showed me how to unleash parts of myself that were lying in wait.
I am well on my way to delivering my 2020 objectives and have established stronger and more respectful relationships along the way.
Coaching with Jacqueline is “game changing”. I highly recommend it to any business leader who is serious about over delivering.”
“The coaching has helped me to understand where I was, where I am and where I want to be. During the sessions, I recognised I did not have self-love/affirmation. When I worked through the NLP exercise, I hadn’t recognised the other person’s point of view. I now realise I have to look at things from a different angle and not to personalise it.
I did not value myself at work because I did not feel heard, seen or valued and now I am hearing and in turn listening to others. I have peeled myself back and looked at myself and saw how I was using my pain as a response when I was triggered at work. So, learning to manage my mind set and put myself forward in a better way has helped my self-confidence, self-esteem and I continue to work on not taking things personally or negatively as it reflects on patients and the organisation.
Thank you to Jacqui, I feel she helped me to get in touch with me. I did not see that transformation was happening until people started to point out the changes, now people are asking for and listening to my opinions and ideas.
I look forward to recommending my staff for coaching as it has helped me so much.”

Clinical Psychologist
“I am a senior clinical manager in the NHS, and the leadership coaching I have received from Jacqueline Peart over the past year has been outstanding. Jacqui is focussed, thorough and incisive, and throughout our work, she remained highly attuned to my goals.
She brings a wide range of techniques, skills, models and knowledge to the coaching, and she uses these skilfully and flexibly. I was consistently impressed by Jacqui’s ability to identify and hone in on key issues with remarkable insight and focus which meant that our work always felt relevant and efficient.
In addition, the warmth, compassion, integrity and transparency Jacqui brings enabled me to explore and address personal perceptions and experiences which have impacted my professional performance, helping me to develop new perspectives.
Jacqui is highly professional, approachable, efficient and reliable; I very highly recommend her as a coach.”
“As we reflected on the journey through the last six months, it was clear that my coach, the coaching process and I were a perfect fit. The learning and growth, evident to me and others around me, reinforces that this process was an overwhelming success and I am very grateful for the support received by Learning and Development in helping me to initiate this process. The reflection of the person who started this process and the person, for whom I am now, can only be described as two totally different individuals.
The work done during our sessions helped me understand the value in no longer carrying around the organisational history, not forgetting the learning, but sharing the message in a way that would enable change and momentum in a more positive way. For those who went through similar experiences, I was able to share this message and share techniques learnt to support others in setting the aside the past organisational burdens to move on.
The confidence gained through the use and understanding of various leadership techniques enabled me to be courageous about taking steps in finding a new role outside of the organisation – stepping out into the unknown again after nearly 5 years.”
Shelley
Children’s Services Manager
“Jacqui’s support and coaching was pivotal in empowering me to prepare, receive feedback and think through my skill set and contributions as a leader. She was generous with sharing various literatures to support the theoretical underpinning of our practical work. The sessions also helped me to prepare for handover and plan my strategy for entering into a new organisation and a new team.
As I move on, I feel incredibly blessed and privileged to have been coached by Jacqui, a truly wonderful teacher and a positive role model. I will continue to learn and grow and share my learning with others, both in my personal and professional life.
My core is strong, I have planted myself and I am now ready to fly! I will be eternally grateful for the support and guidance received.”
“Jacqueline was excellent in communicating with the group and allowed us all to share our opinions.”
Lewisham College
“The programme provided the opportunity for us to work together. It made us recognise ourselves as a team and get to know each other, get on better and become more tolerant of each other.”
“The programme made us focus on what was important and what needed to be done.”
“As part of the lead into the opening of the new Gosport Resource Centre, Training with Purpose International facilitated a teambuilding day. The aim of the day was to promote team working and to establish a shared vision and action plan for the Gosport Resource Centre. By the end of the day the participants (tenants, leaseholders, councillors and staff from Gosport Borough Council) became closer as a team, identified barriers and good practice for continued success, discussed the benefits and concerns about working in a new environment, developed a shared vision and produced both personal and group action plans for achieving the vision of the Resource Centre.”
“The team really came together and worked hard to achieve the aims of the day – Jacqueline motivated us with a mixture of professionalism, enthusiasm and humour.”
“Jacqueline Peart from Training with Purpose International was truly inspirational.”

“Joanna, an Associate Consultant for Training with Purpose International, was able to decipher what people were saying and make it into positive understandable points. The team spoke openly about their feelings, which enabled me to understand their perspective. She was clear, enthusiastic, very professional and witty. Joanna’s personality fitted well with what needed to be achieved with great skill, good choice of exercises and material. Her input gave very clear objectives and enabled the team to move forward in a constructive manner and Joanna has given me some new tools for managing the team. Good to be open and honest and nice to be able to voice my ideas and to see them included in the action plan.”
“The Team Building Day facilitated by Jacqueline was extremely motivational and I have come away feeling clear about my role within the team. I have also learnt a lot about the different ways in which people work within a team and this will help me to be more tolerant towards other team members. Thank you Jacqueline for a fun and invigorating day.”
“This training really did identify and address the specific issues of the group in a uniquely direct and practical way. Jacqueline’s bold enthusiasm and disarming humour promoted very open discussion, which was expertly guided to produce tangible results by the end of the day. By keeping the content directly relevant to the events unfolding, Jacqueline engaged every member of the team from start to finish. Amazingly effective for a one day course and with an ongoing action plan to ensure that nothing is lost, brilliantly engineered and highly beneficial.”
“An excellent day, we arrived as two teams and left as one. An inspirational workshop. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I feel that the training received was very rewarding. We needed to refocus and re-energise. Jacqueline helped us achieve this with an intensive day focussing on ourselves, the team and our objectives for the future all wrapped up and delivered in her inimitable style!”
